For brunch or dinner, roasted asparagus is the ideal side dish for spring. Plus, you can quickly throw it together while your main dish is cooking on the stove.

I garnished my asparagus with a little shaving of Parmesan cheese, lemon, mint, and red pepper flakes for these pictures.

How to Store Asparagus

When you reach home, put your asparagus in a drinking glass or jar with a heavy bottom and add a few inches of water. To keep everything as fresh as possible, you can cover the top with a plastic bag.

After that, put the asparagus in the refrigerator in this manner. This manner, it will stay fresh for several more days!

How to Roast Asparagus

Bake the asparagus for a variable amount of time, depending on its thickness, until a fork can easily penetrate it. A little dusting of freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
a little handful of freshly chopped parsley or mint
A tiny bit of red pepper flakes
A pat or two of butter
Use a thin layer of balsamic reduction or a thick vinegar substitute.
Almonds, sliced and toasted.
